► FREE GEEK CHICAGO
Business & Large Equipment Donations
Retiring old computers, monitors, or networking gear? Donate them to Free Geek Chicago instead of paying a liquidator.
Why Donate to Us
- Tax-deductible. Free Geek Chicago is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 99-0985310). Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
- Data security. Every drive is sanitized before resale, following our Data Sanitization & Destruction Policy. Certificates of Destruction available on request for business donors.
- Local impact. Your equipment gets refurbished and resold at affordable prices to people on Chicago's southwest side, or responsibly recycled if it can't be reused.
What We Accept
- Desktops, laptops, and monitors
- Servers and networking equipment (switches, routers, NAS)
- Printers, copiers, and peripherals
- Cables, docks, and accessories

Drop-Off or Pickup
Large donations are handled case-by-case depending on volume and location — some loads we can pick up, others are easier to drop off at our Mt. Greenwood location. Tell us what you're working with on the form below and we'll figure out the best way to get it to us.
Recognition
